CUSTOMER STORIES
The PR-5000 comes in three depth options: 16”, 30”, and 41”. The 16” is great for small spaces. The 30” provides plenty of room to work, while still saving space. This rack needs to be bolted down to the floor. The 41” depth offers the most working space for exercises like box squats and adds a lot of stability to the rack. We recommend bolting this rack down or adding the Rear Base Stabilizer, which removes the need to bolt it down. However, if you're using the Iso Arms, Spotter Arms, or Globe Pull-Up Bar, you do need to bolt your rack down, even with the Rear Base Stabilizer , regardless of your rack's depth. With those attachments, you also need to add Front Foot Extensions to keep the rack stable.
Yes, the top rear Logo Plate Crossmember is required. It serves as an anchor point for future attachments, and it also adds rigidity and side-to-side stability for the power rack.
Many attachments are available now and more are in development. A rack’s attachment ecosystem is one of the biggest reasons why you would choose one versus another. When you purchase a power rack, you’re buying into the company’s ability to come out with new attachments that add additional functionality over the life of your power rack. Our engineering team is hard at work developing new attachments every year, and we believe this is one of our biggest differentiators.
Here's a look at how REP equipment compares with others on the market. Plus, here are some things to consider when comparing power racks.
Yes. If you add the Rear Base Stabilizer onto a 41" depth PR-5000, you don't have to. However, if you're using the Iso Arms, Spotter Arms, or Globe Pull-Up Bar, you do need to bolt your rack down, even with the Rear Base Stabilizer, regardless of your rack's depth. With those attachments, you also need to add Front Foot Extensions to keep the rack stable.
The PR-5000 has 2” hole spacing throughout with 1” pinholes. On the PR-5000, you can achieve 1” hole spacing on the entire rack with our Lowered J-Cups. The PR-4000 rack’s pinholes are 5/8”. It has 1” hole spacing throughout the bench zone and 2” elsewhere for a precise liftoff height.
The PR-4000 has an impressive attachment “ecosystem”, but the PR-5000 has more attachment compatibility than any other power rack.
The PR-5000 has laser-cut numbers on every hole which makes it easy to line up attachments. The PR-4000 has laser-cut numbers every five holes making it easy to line up attachments, including J-cups and safeties.
Both racks are made with precision manufacturing -- laser cutting, robotic welding, and robotic painting all under one roof -- ensures a consistent, high-quality product.
Yes but be sure that your aren't placing them in the way of where your attachments would be placed.
Yes. With REP's Lowered J-Cups you can have 1" hole spacing throughout the entire rack.
The Compact Logo Plate Crossmember has a smaller footprint than the standard 5000 series REP Logo Plate Crossmember.
Yes, check it out. It's a solution for people who don't want to overthink their decision or feel overwhelmed by the Rack Builder (no judgement!).
The amount of bumper plates you can store depends on the size. You can store up to 13 45lb Competition Bumper Plates per shelf. When using 45lb REP Pinnacle Plates, you can store up to 12. When using the Black Bumper Plates, you can store up to 13. Each shelf can hold three medicine balls at a time. With slam balls you can store up to four REP 5-30lb Slam Balls or three REP 35-70lb Slam Balls per 41” shelf.
You can fit pairs of 5lb-20lb, 25lb-35lb, 40lb-50lb, 55lb-65lb, 70lb-75lb, 80lb-85lb, 90-95lb, or 95-100lb dumbbells on a single 41” shelf. You can fit a full set of our 5-50lb dumbbells on three 41” dumbbell shelves. Rubber Coated Dumbbells are not compatible.
Each shelf has a usable area of 3.13 square feet. It will depend on the size of the kettlebells, and the orientation you choose to store them (single or staggered). You can stagger pairs of 8kg-18kg(6 pairs), pairs of 10kg-20kg(6 pairs), pairs of 16kg-22kg(4 pairs), pairs of 20kg-24kg(3 pairs), pairs of 22-28kg(3 pairs), pairs of 24-32kg(3 pairs), pairs of 36kg-40kg(2 pairs), or pairs of 44kg-48kg(2 Pairs) of Kettlebells (kg) on a single shelf.
The Dumbbell Storage Shelf, Kettlebell Storage Shelf, and Ball & Plate Storage Shelf have a weight capacity of 600lbs.
We do not recommend installing them any higher than 60”.
The 41" shelves plus additional upright will add 46" in width per side.
The shelves will add 5.4" to the depth of the rack.
The 41" shelves plus additional uprights will add 63.3" in width per side.

Absolutely blown away with this thing in person, pictures and videos dont do these racks justice. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I got the selector lat pulldown with mine along a an Arcadia max. Very solid and most importantly very safe! This thing is a tank and isn't going anywhere. Amazing quality and it was nice with the color options! I matched my bench and bar!Everything is could've wanted for my home gym!

This is our first power rack. We upgraded from a squat stand that we used for the last 10 years. We were considering a power rack from Amazon, and my wife showed me this beast!. I was sold on the 80 in. PR5000 and the Ares 2. 0 system. Shipping was faster than expected. However, assembly took us 4 days to complete due to all the work needed to unbox and prep all the parts for installation. The assembly process was not complicated but was tedious, and I highly recommend using an impact driver to put everything together. I also would use an assembly service if I had to do it over. The build quality is insane. This thing is so overengineered. We love it!!

Solid. Best 3x3 power rack in the game. I've looked and planned and researched for 7 months before buying this rack. My story -- a 53 year old woman getting back into fitness/weight lifting. I've lost 45 pounds since January through diet and strength training, so this is my reward. I have a 6 post and it's everything I expected and more. I am so looking forward to building this out over time for the lat/low row, smith machine, etc.
